Matthew had the day off on Friday which meant we could go on an adventure :) I wanted to find some waterfalls, so we headed off down Loch Ness, failed to find the first waterfall, stopped off at the Invermoriston Footprints, and then stopped in Fort Augustus for a lovely wee stroll, and an energy boost from a bowl of soup, and some cake. Matthew had soup, I had cake. Haha.
Those pontoons are great fun to walk along when the water's choppy, a bit like being back on the ship when we were in particularly bad water.
We then drove back up the south side of Loch Ness, which was a first for us both. It's very much like driving through the Isle of Lewis; single track roads, and beautiful views :)
